Charging Cable

Dirty port
If your Airpods charging port is dirty, then your Airpods won’t charge due to clogged-up dirt inside of it.

It goes vice versa; if there is a lot of grime in your Airpods connector, then it won’t charge. Earwax can easily clog your Airpods and make it hard for the connector inside of your Airpods case to connect with your Airpods.
Wrong wireless charger position
If you have Airpods pro or the 3rd generation of Airpods and are trying to charge the Airpods wirelessly in a MagSafe charger, then you have to position the charger correctly, or it won’t charge.

It is really easy to fix, if your AirPods case is not charging and the LED is not lighting up. You have to go through some easy steps in order to see if there is an actual issue or not.
I have already discussed the reason behind this issue, so let’s get into troubleshooting:
Here are the steps to fix Airpods case not charging and no light:
1. Check your Charging connection
Ensure that the Lightning to USB connection is securely connected to the charging dock and USB power adapter if you own the AirPods or AirPods Pro. Then connect to the power adapter.
Try an alternative wireless pad if your wireless charging case isn’t working. When charging your AirPods or AirPods Pro using a Qi-compatible charger, be sure that the cable is securely inserted into the charger and appropriately hooked into a power outlet.
Use a cable. If the cord works, it’s either the wireless charging technology or the charging pad.
Make sure the Type – c to Lightning connection is securely inserted into the USB power cord for AirPods Max. Then connect to the power adapter.

2. Clean your Airpods
Always keep your AirPods case clean. A dry towel may be used to remove the dirt. Make sure to thoroughly clean the casing of your AirPods, as this might be why the battery is not charging.
Your case may not charge when you connect a power cord because of dust in the port. Please do not use any liquids or cleaning products to clean it; if you notice anything within, attempt to disperse it with air. Alternatively, you may use a toothbrush to remove any dust or grime that may be obstructing a charging pin.
3. Check the Battery Indicator on mobile
The LED indicator of your charging case can be broken, but that doesn’t mean your Airpods are not charging. The issue might be that the case is charging, but the LED is not turning up. But apart from the LED, you can still check the battery status from your mobile.

- Connect your Airpods to a charger.
- Put it right inside your iPhone.
