This is the most basic way. It’s just manually closing Discord and then closing the one running in the background and then opening it again.

  1. Press Windows + R key to open the run command.
  2. Type %appdata% and press on OK to open the Roaming folder.run-appdata

If none of the above methods work, just simply turn your computer off and start again. The simplest way to fix freezes is to restart the computer completely. If you cannot do that, just press the Power Button to turn it off manually.

Note:  There is a small chance of data loss or losing the progress of what you’re doing in the background. So do that with caution.
